This Privacy Policy describes how BotGEN ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and services. We are committed to transparency and keeping your data minimal.

1. Information We Collect

From the waitlist form

When you sign up for early access, we collect your email address. We use this solely to notify you when BotGEN launches and to send relevant product updates. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties.

From the product (when you use BotGEN)

When you use BotGEN to create and operate Telegram bots, we process the following data:

• Telegram user IDs — used to identify bot creators and associate them with their bots.
• Message content — the messages you send to the BotGEN constructor bot are processed to understand your intent and generate bot configurations. Messages sent to bots you create are processed by the BotGEN engine to produce responses.
• Bot configuration data — the settings, responses, and logic generated for your bots are stored to keep your bots running.

2. AI Processing via Anthropic

BotGEN uses the Claude API provided by Anthropic, PBC to interpret your descriptions and generate bot configurations. Message content you send to the constructor bot is transmitted to the Anthropic API for this purpose. Anthropic's use of this data is governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the BotGEN service.
• To generate bot configurations in response to your instructions.
• To deploy and run your Telegram bots.
• To communicate with you about the product (waitlist, launch notifications).
• To improve the service through aggregated, non-identifiable usage analysis.

4. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect payment information (none required at this stage), we do not track your browsing behavior across other sites, and we do not create advertising profiles.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Anthropic — for AI processing of bot construction requests (see Section 2).
• Infrastructure providers — hosting and storage providers operating under data processing agreements.
• Legal obligations — if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

6. Data Retention

Waitlist email addresses are retained until you request deletion or until we determine the list is no longer needed. Bot configuration data is retained for as long as your bot is active. Message logs may be retained for a limited period for debugging and service improvement purposes.

7. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To request deletion of your data or to ask any privacy-related question, please email us at vladislav.poddubotski@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

BotGEN is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date at the top and, for material changes, notify waitlist subscribers by email.
